The Lunchtime Support Assistant (LSA) team provide additional support over lunchtimes. LSAs are assigned to particular classes or children and young people where they assist with feeding, independence skills, behaviour and social skills, as well as helping children and young people achieve their lunchtime targets.
After lunch the team assist with various dinner activities, either in the playground for our pupils aged 0-14 or in different themed groups for our 14-19 pupils, such as sports, relaxation or social groups.
The team are an invaluable part of the staff structure who ensure that the needs of our children and young people are being met at lunchtime and they are happy, comfortable and enjoying their time in school in a different environment to their classroom.
