Support Charities and Organisations
There are a number of charities and organisations out there that will provide support and funding in a vast array of areas for children, young people and families with special educational needs or disabilities. RotherHive - NHS Rotherham CCG has launched an online Mental Health and Wellbeing platform ROTHERHIVE. It has been developed by the NHS Rotherham CCG to provide a range of verified practical advice and accurate contact details for local, national and online mental health and wellbeing services for adults in Rotherham. Over 90% of adults with internet access use search engines to find information, therefore, the majority of people use online sources in some way to help them make decisions. RotherHive makes this easier for adults in Rotherham to get instant access to the information they need at a time to suit them.
Rotherham SEND Local Offer - The SEND Local Offer in Rotherham aims to provide you with the information you may need, or want to know, about resources, services, support, activities and events for Rotherham's children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and their families. Information is arranged according to age from pre-school through to early adulthood.
Rotherham Parents Forum - They are a registered charity run by and for families of children and young people (aged 0-25) who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). They work in partnership with service commissioners and providers, sharing knowledge and experience of families to help plan and develop the quality, range and accessibility of provision, creating better outcomes for families through participation and co-production.

YoungSibs - YoungSibs is a website for siblings of disabled children or adults or those with special educational needs. There is a wealth of information and guidance to help and support brothers and sisters living with those with SEN. There is also access to forums and 'sibling advisors' so you can chat to others in similar situations.

The Challenging Behaviour Foundation - The Challenging Behaviour Foundation provide practical information for families and professionals about understanding and supporting children and adults whose behaviour challenges. Their mission is to improve understanding of challenging behaviour, empower families with information and support, and help others to provide better services and more opportunities to people with severe learning disabilities who display behaviours that challenge.

Family Fund - Family Fund is the UK's largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. They provide grants for a wide range of items, such as washing machines, sensory toys, family breaks, bedding, tablets, furniture, outdoor play equipment, clothing and computers. Caudwell Children - Caudwell Children provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK. They also run an Enable Sport programme for talented disabled athletes and a Destination Dreams holiday for children fighting life threatening conditions. Ofsted Parent View
Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about Kelford School, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.
There is a small registration process and once this is completed you can fill in the survey and give your feedback. All results are anonymous and school does not have access to any of the registration information including email addresses.
